spinach coconut smoothie
This smoothie is a great way to introduce yourself to drinking your greens. As well as providing essential electrolytes, the coconut water and bananas add a delicious sweetness to this drink. Try freezing the bananas to get an even creamier result!
ingredients
- 1 cup coconut water
- 2 handfuls spinach
- 2 teaspoons Ceres Organics Psyllium Husk
- 1 tablespoon Ceres Organics LSA
- handful of herbs like coriander and parsley
- 1 tablespoon Ceres Organics Chia Seeds
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 banana (sliced and frozen)
- 1 tablespoon Ceres Organics nut butter of your choice
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root (chopped)
- juice of 1 lemon
method
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
- Drink immediately. The psyllium husk will continue to thicken the smoothie as smoothie sits.
